Christopher Jacobs from Mercenaries 2: World in Flames for GTA San Andreas by Dark Watcher.

Summary

1. What is the mod?

2. How to install the mod?

3. Notes

1 WHAT IS MOD?

The mod is a conversion of the Christopher Jacobs from Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. Both the model and the texture are original, taken directly from the game. I did the ripping myself and made sure to assemble the character according to the original equipment layout seen in Mercenaries 2: World in Flames.

The character replaces one of the Grove Street members.

2 HOW TO INSTALL THE MOD?

To replace the Grove Street member, follow the steps described below:

1. Open Alci's IMG Editor (or another Img editing program);

2. Open gta3.img (with the program mentioned above);

3. Click on "Import (remove if exists)";

4. Select "fam2.dff" and "fam2.txd" (my mod contained in the "Import to gta3.img" folder you downloaded);

5. When "fam2.dff" and "fam2.txd" are already inside gta3.img, click "Save".

To add the skin in the Skin selector, follow the steps below:

1. Open Alci's IMG Editor (or any other cd image editing program);

2. Open skin.img (with the program mentioned above);

3. Click on "Import (remove if exists)" or simply "Import";

4. Select "Christopher Jacobs.dff" and "Christopher Jacobs.txd" (my mod present in the folder "import to skin.img" you downloaded);

5. When "Christopher Jacobs.dff" and "Christopher Jacobs.txd" are inside skin.img, click "Save".

3 NOTES

The character's hand fits the weapons very well.

The fingers bend.

Some parts of the legs are very rigid when the legs are bent, however, this is due to the fact that the model has many vertices in the areas that move during the rotation of the leg. The same happens in the arms.

Originally, in GTA SA, character skeletons and animations were intended for 3D models with few polygons, that is, low poly 3D models. Christopher Jacobs' 3D model, on the other hand, has many polygons and this, consequently, ends up harming the rigging process. Thus, you will notice that some parts of the legs, arms and neck appear strangely when the character makes certain movements. I'm sorry, but it's impossible to avoid this. I did my best to do the best possible rigging of the character.

Originally, in Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, the character has an animation of smoking the cigar in his mouth. In GTA SA, this is not possible.

I would like to thank you for downloading my mod as it took some work to convert the original models and textures. If you are a fan of Mercenaries 2: World in Flames or have played, I hope you have fun and relive nostalgic moments of the game. If you're not a fan or haven't played yet, I hope you have fun with this addition to your GTA SA, causing chaos and among other things hehe.

If you have questions, suggestions or comments about this or other mods of mine, please comment in the comments section of the page where you downloaded this mod or send me a private message (on GTAinside); I will be happy to answer. If you also wish, evaluate the mod on the website.

Best regards,
Dark Watcher.
